February 21, 2015: We had our Washington DC symposium on getting ready for our real life Global Education. I met my travel companions. There are 11 of us plus a support person from TGC. They are mostly from the Northeast. 4 Science, 4 Social Studies, 2 English and 1 math teacher. Only 2 are men. We are all secondary education, mostly high school. Hopefully we will learn about our traveling partners and our host teacher, so we can plan our visit.We know we will spend 5 days with our host teacher, but before and after we will learn about the country, its educational system, meet very special important people, and see some of the capital city of Kampala.
