Dec 2014: I found out today that I am going to Uganda. How wonderful. I have not been to East Africa, for that matter I have only been to Africa once when I went to Egypt. Even though it is in the Tropics (it on the Equator and the Sahara Desert is right above it); Uganda is a sub tropical area with mild spring days and mountains. Speaking of mountains, this is where Diane Fossi's gorillas are. Hopefully I will be able to video conference from the gorilla areas. Every one is concerned: 1st for Ebola, well Ebola is mainly in West Africa but Uganda has lots of other viruses like: malaria, yellow fever, Hep A. 2nd is lots of Africa is war torn, so hopefully we will be protected? I will find out more later.
