Not Going to Uganda

A travel alert was sent that terrorist were making threats in the capital city Kampala, Uganda.  After much discussion, the state department and the program decided to postpone the trip. After so much preparation is was a let down, but being safe in more important. I do not believe the terrorist threats will die down any time soon. After careful thought, I have decided not to go to Uganda at all.  I am awaiting my options whether to go this summer to Brazil or India or possible wait until next year.  I will let you know.
